Cartridge Recycling

We have been recycling empty ink jet and laser cartridge for our partners since 1996 and have saved thousands of cartridges from going to landfills.

Benefits of recycling cartridges:

• Less chance of toxic waste getting into the soil.  Ink cartridges like many items can leak toxic chemicals no matter where they are put.  Even in landfills, those nasty chemicals can leak into the ground.  It has been estimated that almost 300 million ink cartridges are dumped annually.  This amounts to 75,000 tons of trash.  It is mind boggling.  Not only is this bad for Mother Earth but it is also dangerous for us humans who like to drink clean water and eat.
• Each recycled cartridge saves about 3 pounds of natural resources that would otherwise be used to produce virgin cartridges.
• Recycled cartridges also save 3.5 oz. of oil required to produce new containers.
• It takes 1,000 years for a cartridge to decompose.  Even more when it is inside a landfill.

Have a cartridge you want to recycle?  It takes only 3 simple steps:

1. 1.  Place the empty cartridge in a box (we prefer you place the empty cartridge in an original box so that we know what type it is, however any box will do).
2. 2.  Mark the box "RECYCLE".
3. 3.  Get it to us! (You can give it your our driver, drop it off at our office or ship it back to us)
